Exhibitors Newsmore exhibitor news... |
Prowood® lives up to its promises
The success of the second edition has definitively confirmed Prowood® as the number one meeting place for the woodworking industry in Belgium. A few figures on this edition, which was held in November 2006 at Flanders Expo:
- more participants (increase to 175 exhibitors)
- more stand area (+ 884 m2)
- more visitors from the profession (2,016 compared with 11,758 in 2003)
A strict selection in schools ensured that only motivated pupils found their way to the trade fair, and this on a day agreed in advance. Exhibitors greatly valued this.
Why Prowood® was better in 2006
- Extra options on the website.
- Handy, pocket-sized fair catalogue.
- Brochure containing floor plan available at the entrance.
- Better construction and dismantling rules.
- Closing after official closing time (unlike other fairs, visitors are not chased away from Prowood at closing time).
- Pre-selection of the Golden Plane competition for the best young carpenter. The winner was invited to Japan in 2007 to take part in the World Skills competition.
- Reception, with delegates from the regional and federal governments.
Why Prowood® will be even better in 2009
- Better opening hours on weekdays:
from 12 noon to 8 pm.
Exhibitors can visit their offices in the morning and visitors can come to the trade fair after work
(as before, the fair will be open from 10 am to 6 pm on Wednesday 11 November, a public holiday, and on the closing Saturday). - Another two high days during the fair (as in 2003).
- Organisers Claever Associates will provide a marketing seminar for the exhibitors, as an extra service provision. This is a whole course to help you get the absolute most from your participation.
- Further sectoral classification per group of exhibitors.
