2012: Prowood® is quickly approaching its fo urth edition
Once again, this international, sector-supported trade fair is a must in the calendar of anyone who is active in the wood processing industry.
Because Prowood continues to grow.
Despite the recession, the previous edition was a smash:

more exhibitors (194, an 11% increase)
-
16,136 m2 for stands (practically unchanged despite the recession)
-
more visitors (14,790, a 23% increase!), including those from Wallonia and abroad.
What visitors thought about Prowood® 2009

95% thought Prowood 2009 was even better than the previous edition.

They came first and foremost to discover new products and machines.
-
They appreciate the fact that the machines at Prowood were operational.
-
A large majority was satisfied with the new, more flexible opening hours.
What exhibitors thought about Prowood® 2009

Prowood 2009 met expectations for 92% of the exhibitors.

They came first and foremost to meet new contacts (88%) and to increase consumer familiarity of their company and (new) products (78%).

The new initiatives were a hit:

73% of the participants gained useful information during the exhibitors’ seminars during the run up to the trade fair;
-
87% expressed their satisfaction concerning the new opening hours;
-
The opening, in the presences of VIPs and the visits from ambassadors and services for foreign trade with various countries were experienced as absolute added value for the trade fair;
-
The Prowood website appeared to be a much used resource in the communications mix.

The exhibitors gave Prowood 2009 a final score of 8.47/10.
We will do everything in our power to make the fourth edition even more successful!
