On Sunday, Bouwunie will kick off the classics with a lecture.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the Confederation of Construction provides an interesting theme for the opening of the fair, followed by a networking moment and a visit to the fair. The program includes a lecture on 'Fire-resistant transit', as well as the very topical theme of Exterior joinery and ETIC.
On Tuesday, FSC talks about FSC certification of companies.
In short: once again an interesting lecture program with 'something for everyone'.
We will soon - or as soon as we have this ourselves - put the full program online on our website. So something to keep an eye on.

Chairman of the advisory board Marc Vens also mentioned IOT and Industry 4.0 in his speech.
During the fair we will also pay attention to this in collaboration with Tapio and a number of partner exhibitors on the basis of a Tapio route. Visitors will then be able to see how open-source software can be used for their activities at various stands.
Tapio is the open digital ecosystem for the industry. They provide a technological basis for digital applications for joiners, furniture makers and sheet metal processors. In concrete terms, Tapio enables them to exchange all possible data regarding machines, tools, furniture fittings, etc...

And last but not least, this year at Prowood we will pay real attention to the parquet sector for the first time.

The parquet installers will provide their own manned information stand together with a demonstration zone. This demonstration zone will be filled in by experienced parquet installers and vocational schools. A separate corner dedicated to restorations of historic parquet floors will also not be missing. The federation's official sponsors will also present their products there.
During the exhibition days, the parquet installers will also hold various information sessions with topics such as the recently published Technical Information (TV272), fire-resistant penetrations, etc.

Woodwize : we can again present a joint educational stand at this fair, where the entire educational offer will be extensively presented. For example, both the Dual Learning and the Se-n-Se training Construction and Planning Techniques will be discussed here.
Interested parties can get acquainted with modern wood education, which is really "in tune" with technical and technological evolutions. We are still strongly committed to Dual Learning. We do this in collaboration with all educational partners. As the VDAB school-leavers report shows, work experience is a huge asset to get started quickly. This also applies to our wood sectors.

On Tuesday 19 October we invited the Flemish Ministers of Work and Education to visit this educational stand.
